BIZZBY ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you sign up for BIZZBY, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Business name and type
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
- Phone number (if provided)
- Messaging platform identifiers (e.g., Telegram user ID)
1.2 Business Data
As you use BIZZBY, your AI team processes data related to your business, including:
- Website content and brand assets (logos, colors, copy)
- Client and customer information you provide
- Business communications (emails, messages)
- Financial data (invoices, revenue, expenses)
- Calendar and booking information
- Marketing content and social media posts
1.3 Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service:
- Features and tools you use
- Messages exchanged with your AI team
- Website analytics (pages visited, time on site)
- Device and browser information

3. Anonymized & Aggregated Data
Making BIZZBY Smarter for Everyone
One of BIZZBY's core benefits is that as more Founders use the platform, the AI gets smarter for everyone. We do this by analyzing anonymized, aggregated data across our Founder community.
3.1 What We Aggregate
We collect and anonymize the following data categories for aggregation:
- Business performance patterns: Revenue ranges, client growth rates, and booking frequencies by business type and market category (never individual figures)
- Marketing effectiveness: Which growth channels, content types, and strategies drive the best results for different business categories
- Pricing patterns: How different pricing structures perform across similar business types
- Tool and feature usage: Which platform capabilities are most valuable, helping us prioritize development
- Onboarding patterns: Common setup flows and time-to-value metrics by business type
3.2 How We Anonymize
Before any data enters our aggregation pipeline, we strip all personally identifiable information:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and social accounts are removed
- Business names and specific addresses are removed
- Client/customer information is never included
- Financial figures are converted to ranges or percentiles
- Geographic data is generalized (e.g., "coastal California" not "123 Main St, San Diego")
We apply industry-standard anonymization techniques to ensure data cannot be re-identified. Aggregated insights are only generated when we have sufficient data to prevent identification of individual businesses.
3.3 How Aggregated Data Benefits You
This data powers features like:
- Industry benchmarks ("Similar businesses in your market typically charge $X–$Y")
- Smarter AI recommendations based on what actually works for businesses like yours
- Better default templates, pricing suggestions, and marketing strategies
- Educational content and guides grounded in real data
3.4 Your Choice
You may opt out of anonymized data aggregation at any time by emailing support@bizzby.ai. If you opt out:
- Your data will be excluded from future aggregation
- You may not receive certain benchmark-based recommendations
- All other Service features remain fully available
4. AI Processing
BIZZBY uses artificial intelligence to provide the Service. This means:
- Your messages and business data are processed by AI models to generate responses, content, and actions
- AI-generated outputs (websites, emails, recommendations) are created using your business context
- Your data may be processed by third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI) under their respective data processing agreements
We select AI providers that maintain strong data protection practices and do not use your data to train their general models.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Companies that help us operate BIZZBY (hosting, payment processing, AI providers, email delivery). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
- At your direction: When you ask your AI team to send emails, post content, or interact with third-party services on your behalf.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- Business transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with advance notice).
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Isolated workspaces — each Founder's data is stored in a separate, sandboxed environment
- Access controls limiting who can access your data to essential personnel and systems only
- Regular security reviews and monitoring
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
- After cancellation: Your workspace and data are retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted. You may request an export during this period.
- Anonymized data: Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to you.
- Legal obligations: Some data may be retained longer if required by law (e.g., financial records).
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out of aggregation: Exclude your data from anonymized analysis
- Unsubscribe: Opt out of marketing communications at any time

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA:
- The right to know what personal information we collect and how it's used
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
10. Client Data
If you use BIZZBY to manage your own clients' data, you are the data controller for that information. See Section 9 of our Terms of Service for your responsibilities regarding client data.
11. Third-Party Services
BIZZBY integrates with the following categories of third-party services:
- AI providers: Anthropic, Google (for AI processing)
- Hosting: Hetzner, Cloudflare (infrastructure and website hosting)
- Payments: Stripe (payment processing)
- Communications: Telegram, Resend (messaging and email)
- Analytics: Google Analytics (website usage)
Each provider has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
12. Children's Privacy
BIZZBY is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
